dave headcanons 

appearance:

• this is essentially dave. ginger hair, red eyes, general face features:
• 
• thin but not skinny. he’s soft, not bony.
• pretty short for a guy of sixteen, at only 5’3”
• he has a gap between his middle two front teeth
• he’s not really sixteen. he’s just stuck at that age. he’s actually been sixteen for six years.
• after doing maths that makes him twenty two, but don’t think that makes him any more mature mentally than the average fourteen year old.

personality:

• he is sarcastic and cant take things seriously.
• it’s very hard for him to talk about serious topics without joking.
• he has problems with forming serious relationships and committing to people. 
• at the same time, he also has abandonment issues. he loves his friends, and cannot stand when they’re mad at him even if he has no problem annoying other people.
• he has trouble expressing his true feelings unless he hides them within some type of symbolism that he thinks people should understand when they probably can’t.
• on the flip side of that, he is highly opinionated and critical of other people because he expects them to be the same way with him.
• dave likes to instigate, and i cannot stress this enough. if there is any possible way for him to twist your words around and use them against you, make a smartass retort, or turn it into something sexual, he’ll be looking for it.
• he instigates partly because he likes to get a rise out of people, and partly because he wants to see how they’ll retaliate. he also generally hopes for the worst in these scenarios.
• he likes bad music, anime, comics, sweet kicks, junk food, sexy pictures, swords, copious amounts of soda, and goth chicks.

backstory / important events in dave’s life / important shit like that:

• during the final battle with jack noir at the end of sburb, almost everyone was killed, so using his powers as the knight of time, dave went through timeline after timeline until he found one in which he could convince his friends not want to play sburb. he killed that timeline’s dave and took his place. He doesn’t like to talk about sburb.
• dave is in a constant state of quantum / temporal flux, since he came from one timeline and is currently living in another; therefore he exists in two timelines. because he is constantly between two timelines, every so often, he will entirely blink out of existence and come back. this isn’t damaging really, as dave only feels as if he’s been in a deep sleep, but it may affect the short term memory of anyone who witnesses it. ( hello this trekkie )

sex / sexuality / fetish headcanons:

• he is a desperately horny little fucker, and is very submissive. but if you can’t top him in the way he wants, he’ll top from the bottom. he does top in rare cases, though.
• when he is subbing in an s&m situation, he likes to be stepped on, insulted, and have his hair pulled. blindfolding is generally a must, but isn’t necessary. he hates to be restrained because then he can’t touch, so this is a form of punishment for him rather than a turn on.
• contrary to popular belief, he does not actually want to be pissed on. save that for the antarctic while you piss off a building.
